a coasty weekend

Friends from town took the 5 hour trip to the northern coast of La Union to share a coasty weekend. Ian Zamora introduces some ultra fun hand-crafted ocean sliders from Cali while Carla Rowland shows friends how to dance on water as a golden sun sets on golden peeps.

Good times. Good vibes.

Thanks for watching!

Carla gave a sunset coaching session for intermediate surfers and shared valuable tips from warm up exercises, proper cross stepping and nose riding. For the ladies, she even shared some secrets on how to look confident and gorgeous in and out of the water. (Ex. paddling to the line-up while keeping your hair dry.) Everyone was tuned in as this blonde-haired blue-eyed surf goddess shared her surfing wisdom.

all eyes & ears on Carla

like I said, goddess.

even Ocean was there to support!

Thank you Carla for sharing so much to us.
Listening to you truly showed us what true long boarding is all about :
Style, composure, glide, going with the flow, and just havin' fun on every wave.

a coasty weekend: day one

We filled up every nook and cranny of our landcruiser with bags, gear, water buckets and somehow managed to squeeze Nikki in there somewhere. With loads of Zamora boards on top, we gassed up and were off on a five hour drive to La Union.

where is nikki?

Arriving a little after sunrise, we ran straight to the ocean and seeing that there were waves breaking at the point, we almost tore down the rack, waxed our boards and paddled out before you could say surf's up. With a quiver of fun Zamora wave sleds, it was quite impossible for us not to have a great time.
